Westbourne Place Accommodations

There are two types of accommodations:

 

Studio or Bachelor Suite

Rent for $665.00/month. + Electricity $20.00 per month

These suites consist of a large room which serves as the living and  dining area, the sleeping area is off to the side of this space and can be closed off with an existing accordion door. The kitchen and bathroom are separate rooms and there is a good size storage room in the suite.

One Bedroom Suites

Rent for $765.00. + Electricity $20.00 per month

These suites consist of a large room which serves as the living and dining area.  The bedroom, kitchen and bathroom are separate rooms and there is a good size storage room in the suite.

All Suites are equipped with:

  • modern appliances (refrigerator and stove)

  • wall-to-wall laminate and linoleum

  • window coverings

  • large storage room

  • many with private balcony or patio

 

Rent includes:

  • Utilities included are Heat, Water  (except small electricity charge,       phone, internet and cable TV)

  • A Tenant Insurance Package, which covers personal belongings

  • A Liability Insurance Package

  • One parking stall with plug in (on a 1st come – as available basis)

Services Available

 

  • Residents can book the Multi-Purpose room to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries, and occasional family gatherings.

  • Twice weekly, on Tuesday and Friday mornings, exercise classes are held by certified fitness instructors from the Calgary Health Region.

  • Just outside the Multi-Purpose room is a Tuck Store  which is extremely popular with the residents for morning coffee and snacks; the Tuck Store also carries a variety of supplies to service the needs of the residents.

  • A thrift store run by volunteer residents in the building has many beautiful and functional items, from ornaments to furniture and everything in between. These items are all donated for sale with the proceeds going to the Hilltoppers Association to help run social programs and outings for the residents.

  • Our building also houses a Beauty Salon where many residents can have their hair done without leaving home. We also have a Social room on the lower level with a full kitchen that can be booked for family functions. Also on the lower level are our laundry room and our games room.

  • There are several outside patios and a garden and gazebo area where you can enjoy a BBQ.  On 3 floors there are common sitting areas provided to just sit and enjoy the sunshine or a cup of tea with friends.

What's near

  • Public transport is available right at the front of our building on 64th Avenue and provides quick and easy access to a Superstore and the 78th Avenue Loop just a short distance from the Beddington Mall and the Beddington Co-op Mall.  Close by also are the Thorncliffe Safeway, Shoppers Drug Mart, as well as numerous other stores, banks and medical offices.

  • The Hunterhorn Plaza and the Deerfoot Mall are easily accessible, just a short distance east on 64th Avenue.
